![]() ![]() ![]() Today was the first day that he said he didn’t want to do it anymore. He does a meditation with me, a Bible devotional he picked, he journals and then he does a short workout. My son has joined me the last month or so in my routine, adopting his own. My morning routine has been crucial in helping me hear God and uncover His plan for me. It doesn’t happen frequently and I think that’s intentional so that when it does, the impact is profound. Without fail, when I’ve had a life-altering decision to discern, God has sent something so obvious that any inkling of doubt is wiped away. I am really excited that something like what Wade and his team have created exists in Northwest Indiana. "You have to have your walls up high enough to keep the nay-sayers out, but low enough that you don't ignore sound advice." "Entrepreneurship takes two things, intentionality and coachability" "If you don't become your own self-disruptor, you will be disrupted" A lot of people will say it to be polite but when Wade says it, you can feel that he means it. "How can I help?" is one of the most powerful things someone pursuing their dream can hear from someone. I was able to attend the unveiling of his new initiative with Northwest ISBDC, an Innovation Hub and Co-working space that will bring together entrepreneurs both with experience and at the beginning of their journeys. Here this guy met me a few hours before at a breakout session where we only talked for a few minutes and I could tell his passion was helping people. At the #inc5000 party, I walked in and was about 3 seconds from turning around when Wade Breitzke saw me and said, "Tag along with us!" I am not comfortable going into social events, especially where I don't know anyone.
